Dicit Dominus : Ego cogito cogitationes pacis, et non afflictionis : invocabitis Me, et Ego exaudiam vos : et reducam captivitatem vestram de cunctis locis.

Benedixisti, Domine, terram Tuam : avertisti captivitatem Jacob.

Priest : Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto, sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper : et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

English translation

The Lord said, “I think thoughts of peace, and not of affliction, you shall call upon Me and I will hear you, and I will bring back your captivity from all places.

Lord, You have blessed Your land. You have turned away the captivity of Jacob.

Priest : Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Familiam Tuam, quaesumus, Domine, continua pietate custodi : ut, quae in sola spe gratiae caelestis innititur, Tua semper protectione muniatur. Per Dominum nostrum Jesum Christum Filium Tuum, qui Tecum vivit et regnat in unitate Spiritus Sancti Deus, per omnia saecula saeculorum. Amen.

English translation

Keep Your family, we beseech You, o Lord, with Your continual mercy that, leaning only upon the hope of Your heavenly grace, it may ever be defended by Your protection. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who with You lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen.
