1 month since the beginning of my blog. May God always be with me and my hands!

16 January 2013, a month ago, I have decided to begin this blog, which begun officially on 17 January 2013, the next day.

A month has passed since then, and every time, I always feel the Lord’s guiding my hands to continue writing both on the Scripture, the daily reflections, and the other matters regarding the faith, more so now that a new Coadjutor Archbishop of Singapore will be ordained soon within this week (on Friday, 22 February 2013), and that our beloved Pope Benedict XVI will step down at the end of this month, and his successor to be elected in a month’s time.

Pray for me, pray for the Coadjutor Archbishop of Singapore, Msgr. William Goh, pray for our Pope Benedict XVI, for his successor-to-be, and pray for the Universal Church and for the world. May God be with us all, always, and may His blessing be upon us. Amen.

Indonesian version of my main blog and future versions for the Evangelisation of the Faith

I have created a version of my blog in the Indonesian language, which is the language of the country of my birth. As I realised that many Catholics in Indonesia are not able to understand English, this will enable my blog to reach out to more people, particularly Indonesian Catholics.

In the similar way, I am planning to establish other versions of my blog in Latin and Italian once I am competent enough in both languages, and in the long term maybe French, Spanish, Portuguese, and even Chinese and Japanese, to allow the Word of God and the faith to be spread to more people around the world, particularly those from non-English speaking background.

The Church and our Faith, with the Social Media, for New Evangelisation

Yes, the social media can be a great tool for evangelisation, and also for the spreading of the good works of the Lord, which through our hands and our effort, we can make God’s power manifest in our world.

Let us strengthen our faith by sharing it with one another through the social media, and use it as a proper platform to gain attention to those who are especially in need of help.

Youths are the future of the Church, and we have to make sure that all Catholic and indeed all Christian youths, to be protected from the evil influences on the social media, simply by ensuring that they are also exposed to good influences of the Church through the same social media.
